* The rooms are so tiny, the receptionist has no idea how to communicate with customers , no communication skills.
* Cold breakfast cold bread , etc…
* You cant make your own shisha in your balcony while you are on holiday to enjoy
I wont recommend this hotel thank you,
We were passing, so we decided to stop and have a beer to quench our thirst and get out of the crazy 33 degrees mid-day sun. We had a bottle of Carlsberg, a chicken pinini, and 3 tiny bottles of water, and it cost £19 not great value for money. To top it all, they mixed up our order, but they corrected it, so all is good there. But the chicken was overcooked, and it took forever to be served. The waiters were a bit sleepy, which is understandable. I couldn't work in that heat. The hotel restaurant is right on the beach. I can't comment on the hotel as we didn't stay there.
AurAsia beach hotel is in an amazing location! Directly on the beach. Very close to centre and close to amenities. The room - is as big as a prison cell. The bathroom - is as big as a TV box. Room cleaning service is good. Breakfast is limited. However, for a 3* hotel it’s definitely good value for money. I would recommend it if you’re coming on a budget. If you wish to just sleep and shower and eat out then it’s definitely worth it. However, balcony can only fit one slim person. The WiFi has a decent signal. Another problem associated with this establishment is the lift - the lift, will not fit more than 4 slim people. The AC isn’t the strongest. I’m not aware of other rooms. However, the hotel does look very attractive. The hotel is kept clean. I would still recommend it. 👍🏾
Terrible experience
Air con in the room was broken. As soon as we entered the room and switched it on the aircon the shutter fell to the ground. Upon looking at it, it was clear it had been placed/balanced on to look like it was working but was very clearly broken
When the aircon was left on it would start to leak and leave a puddle on the floor. When we informed staff of this we were just told someone would have a look at it. Nobody did.
WiFi only works at reception and does not reach the rooms.
Rooms are much smaller than advertised in any pictures. We did not have sufficient room to unpack our bags as there was not enough storage for clothes for two people for a few days
Our balcony flooded each time the people in the room next to us used their shower as the pipe for releasing the water did not fit into the drain and ended up all over our balcony
One of the lights in our room would constantly flicker so it could not be used
Top corner of bed was sunken in and looked as if the bed would give way if any pressure was applied to it
My tour operator unexpectedly switched hotels on us 2 weeks prior to the booking date, so having read some of the negative comments/reviews, I was somewhat concerned about the standard of Aurasia Beach Hotel. My fears were completely unfounded. The room was clean and modern, the beds comfortable, all the facilities worked perfectly and there was sufficient space for us to put away all our things. There is a safe in the room which is handy, and also a small fridge where you can keep drinks and fresh fruit bought from the local supermarket about 200m up the road. The bathroom has a spacious shower which works perfectly. We had a small balcony with a partial seaview with enough room to sit and relax..The only problem we had was getting to remote to communicate with the aircon, and a request to the cleaners sorted that out straight away. The staff are friendly and very helpful; nothing is too much trouble. Our tariff included breakfast where there is plenty of choice - we haven't tried the restaurant for lunch or dinner so can't comment on the food. Marmaris is a busy tourist hotspot that caters for young people so it can get noisy at night especially with loud music, but if you shut the balcony door you don't hear a thing. I would highly recommend the Aurasia Beach Hotel
About a 20min walk to the Marina and the balcony we had was quite small. Everything was great and the stay was comfortable. Only downside was that they didn't top up our shower soaps and bathroom equipment needed from the previous occupants checking out. We only stayed for 1 night so didn't make a big deal about it.
I would not recommend this place:
The place looks very different to pictures and is actually quite worn out. Everything breaks, squeaks, has stains, etc. The hotel is definitely not living up to 3 stars and its price. Also just one lift is not enough because you end up waiting for long to get up or down. Breakfast is included but beyond watermelon, melon, bread and two types of egg, there is nothing else to eat. Coffee is very cheap instant coffee.
It is very hot in the hallways. Note that there is no gym or spa.
We checked out a couplet of other hotels when going to spa, and for the same price per night there are much better options.
One good thing though is that staff is quite nice and polite
Our brief stay at Aurasia in Marmaris was truly unforgettable. The hotel's stunning waterfront location provided breathtaking views that added to the charm of our visit. What made our experience exceptional was the engaging conversation we had with the owner, Ali. His insights into entrepreneurship not only enriched our stay but also added a personal touch. Aurasia is a hidden gem offering not just a scenic retreat but also a memorable and intimate experience for couples.
